Our vision is cultivating a vibrant, supportive, inclusive, and coordinated sport community for every Yukoner
Who We Are
Sport Yukon is a non-governmental organization geared toward helping our members and the sport community succeed to their fullest potential.
Our membership is made up of Yukon Sport Governing Bodies, Sport and Recreation Organizations, and many other clubs, groups, and associations.
We are a hub for Yukon sport organizations and the voice for sport in the territory
That is our mission. To that end, we work to elevate sport by facilitating education and partnerships for our members, as well as providing advocacy, promotion, development of sport tourism, events, and access to administrative and financial resources.
Our Present and Future
Sport Yukon has evolved greatly since its inauguration in the 1970s and it's growing ever since.
Whether its information on programs and funding, to expertise in sport tourism and event bidding, to a proven channel of communication and advocacy with government, Sport Yukon is at the centre of it.
