The Kids Recreation Fund provides many Yukon families with an opportunity for funding so their kids can participate in sport and recreational activities in the territory.
Below is a list of equipment that is eligible for the fund. Proof of sport registration may be required with certain items. Clothing and running shoes are NOT funded.

Who can Apply?
All parents, guardians and children must be residents of the Yukon.
Parents and guardians can apply for their children 0 to 18 years of age if their combined net household income is under:
- $46,818 with one child;
- $54,100 with two children;
- $60,343 with three children; and
- $66,585 with four or more children.

How Much are the Grants?
The KRF can fund up to $500 per child but it is not guaranteed. Funds are limited. Once you are approved you are eligible to use the fund ONLY while funds are available and can be applied anytime within the fiscal year ending March 31.
When is the Deadline?
Applications are accepted anytime until 11:59 p.m. on March 31, or until the annual funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
What local suppliers accept purchase orders (POs)?
You can get a quote from the following local suppliers and upload the quote in exchange for a purchase orders; Sports Experts/Coast Mountain Sports, Due North Maternity & Baby, Changing Gear, Cadence Cycle, Kicksled Revolution, Icycle Sports, Mt. Sima, The Heart of Riverdale, Road Dogs Music, and most sport organizations.

If you'd like to donate by cheque, you can make it payable to Sport Yukon and mail it to us at 4061, Whitehorse, YT, Y1A 1H1. Cash is only accepted by drop-off at the office.
